In 1972, the group of our company was founded by Mr. Bekir DEMIR in Karabaglar as a lathe workplace. Since 2001, our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Cihan Demir, has started with steel trade of our company as Demirsan Metal Group. In 2009, our growing company has been moved to a new warehouse in Torbali/ Pancar where is most convenient place in terms of transportation and customs operation. In 2014, our company moved to metal processing by increasing its growth volume and moved to our factory located in Pancar Organized Insutrial Zone with an area of 8000 m2. In 2017, our company started tp export by moving production to European standarts. As DEMIRSAN METAL AS at 2019, we are focused on providing the best service to our customers.
Launching its Spiral welded steel pipe production in 1983, our company integrated with the Ceceli Group in 1990. Developing still its product ranges neat to the ever-increasing customer demands, Emek Boru is committed to leveraging the quality of its production up to the highest attainable grade, through a variety of investments it makes on production technologies and its human resources. Currently, Emek Boru maintains its spiral welded steel pipe production cycles running through 4 separate production lines equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technologies installed and commissioned in its modern manufacturing plants on an area of 100.000 square eters of open land with a 30.000 square meters confined space located in the first Organized Industrial Zone of Ankara. With an annual capacity of 460 000 tons, these facilities take on manufacturing of products in full conformity with both local and international standards. Our company practices the "Quality Management System" for the last 6 years. We were certified by TSE with TSE-ISO-EN-9001 in 1996 as the first company received this certification in the plastics sector. After the auditing by TSE, our Quality Management System is certified with the revised ISO 9001-2000, in 2002. The Quality Management System starts in Design Process in EGEPLAST. For that reason, the ISO 9001 Model were preferred during our first application to TSE in 1996. In our company, the new product development requests and product improvement activities are evaluated as a "Project". The Research And Development Department is fully assigned for the design process. During this process the mechanical extrusion techniques are supported by AutoCAD R 14 Software and all new technologies are taken into consideration. Each Step of the Design Process is controlled and checked by Research and Development Department and related personnel. That is very important to avoid any possible problems that might occur during production process in the future. The changing factors such as usage purpose, the place to be used, life cycle, convenience, packaging are taken into consideration before the design is prepared. The process is followed until the product is manufactured completely and with zero defect. The products of EGEPLAST are in conformity with many National and International Standards including TSE and GOST.
